Whom does your recruiters send CVs to?
You are a third party recruiter and you have a team of recruiters who source Cvs, send to your customer contacts, track the progress and close position. We came across this interesting situation. You have a big client and your team is interacting with a team of recruiters from your client. In such a scenarios does your team members show any special inclination towards specific person/s on the other side? Whom do they send the CV to ? Do they send to those guys who process your CVs faster? Is it important that you send CVs uniformly to all?
Most importantly, as a third party recruiting firm, do you want track this? We asked few of our customers precisely this question – Why do you want to track this? How does it matter as long as your CVs are getting processed?
Answer – “We do see our recruiters favoring few or gelling well with few recruiters from other side and they tend to send CVs to their preferred contacts. This is OK to an extent as CVs get processed and we stand better chance of closure. However, it leads to resentment from other guys and may lead to unhappy client contacts. At an organizational level I would like to see my recruiters send CVs uniformly to all the contacts (please keep in mind, even recruiters at our client premises have time pressure and targets ). However we would like to track who is processing our CVs promptly and who sitting on them without reason. These data points become handy in a situation where customer recruiters are complaining about favoritism. “
